Akon, the super popular R & B musician, is selling a
huge white mansion in the Woodland Hills neighborhood
of Los Angeles for $3.5 million.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news of the sale
noting that Aimee Stern of Coldwell Banker is
representing the residence. Apparently, Akon renovated
the home completely after he purchased it in September
2013.
This is the same house where he celebrated his birthday
this year. The “Bellydancer” hitmaker threw a lavish bash
and actually danced with belly dancers in the party. At
that time, TMZ reported that Akon had converted the
residence into a complete party pad.
And now, the “Smack That” crooner has decided to flip it
and is making an offer that no one (those who have a
spare $3.5 million lying around) in their right minds
could deny. The place is being offered for $3.5 million
unfurnished, but it will cost you a tad bit more if you
want all the furnishing and recording studio equipment
that comes with it.
How much you ask? Just another $500,000 more.
The home has a website dedicated to it, which has some
amazing pictures of the complete-white contemporary
pad. The residence spans an area of 4,098 square feet
and is comprised of five bedrooms and five and a half
bathrooms spread on two stories.
The double-winged residence has soaring ceilings,
floor-to-ceiling glass windows and slider doors. The
modern floor plan of the home provides easy indoor-
outdoor flow.
Its exclusive features include –
– A recording studio
– A barbecue grill
– A heated pool
– A spa
– Fountains
– Gourmet kitchen
– Firepits
The listing descriptions raps away the home’s praises as
well:
“Float on into Heaven, a private, secure, gated and
recently reimagined modernist dream home. You have
arrived. The day is done.”
“Lifted. Inspired. Enlivened. Alive. Music, the muse,
beckons. The sound. The soul. The studio. This is
Heaven. Welcome home,” it concludes.

Akon owns two properties in Atlanta. One of his homes
is in Alpharetta in the Atlanta National Country Club,
while the other is located in Sandy Springs. One of the
mansions, featured on MTV Cribs, has a separate pole-
dance area.
