The Nigeria Football Federation Executive Committee under the Presidency of Aminu Maigari has been reinstated by the World Football-Governing Body, FIFA.

Maigari has been directed to take his time to call the first and second extra-ordinary congresses that will usher in a new electoral committee and conduct fresh election into the Executive Committee respectively.

The tenure of the Maigari-led board expired on August 25, 2014 and has consequently been dissolved by the two congresses held on August 26, 2014, at Chida Hotel as well as the one presided over by the General Secretary, Musa Amadu, at Bentley Hotel.

However, prior to the expiration of the board’s tenure had also resigned via a letter addressed to the Sports Minister, Tammy Danagogo, which is now in the public domain.
