Channing Tatum did not mince words when it came to discussing his role in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra during an interview with Howard Stern on Tuesday.

“Look, I’ll be honest. I f–king hate that movie. I hate that movie,” the Magic Mike XXL star said of the 2009 film. “I was pushed into doing that movie. From Coach Carter, they signed me to a three-picture deal […] They give you the contract and they go, ‘Three-picture deal, here you go.’ And as a young [actor], you’re like, ‘Oh my god, that sounds amazing, I’m doing that!’”

As Tatum recalled, he had found success with other projects, when the studio called with G.I. Joe.
